Marian is a non-union, black voiceover artist, with a home recording studio in Chesterfield, Virginia. She's a disabled U. S. Army veteran that worked as a social worker for over 15 years, working in child welfare and with diverse populations including veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness and substance abuse.
Marian started training as a voiceover artist with a local coach in 2019, started acting and improv classes and by November 2022, she started auditioning and booked rather quickly. She has a voice that draws the listener in and keeps them engaged.
Her voice deep, yet gentle, authoritative, yet warm, calming and inviting; but also, a voice full of energy. Marian's voice has been compared to the likes of Viola Davis, Angela Bassett, Phylica Rashad and Regina King. She can bring depth to your commercial, documentary, corporate video, explainer or eLearning video and even your podcast! She has multiple national Intuit Credit Karma commercials airing currently.
Marian has always had a strong passion for mental health due to her own personal battles with mental illness. When you book with Marian, you get a knowledgeable, lived experience storyteller voicing your project for external customers and employees through corporate videos, commercials, training modules, and company directories and much more.
