Business Manager Saint Joseph Catholic School – Petersburg, VA

Saint Joseph Catholic School is seeking a mission-driven Business Manager to oversee the financial and administrative operations of the school. This leadership role is essential to ensuring financial stability, operational excellence, and strong communication between school leadership, families, the Richmond Diocese, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

● Manage all financial accounts, budgeting, payroll, and tuition processes

● Oversee accounts receivable/payable and prepare regular financial reports

● Ensure compliance with diocesan and regulatory policies, including audits

● Maintain personnel records, process payroll, and assist with onboarding

● Supervise office staff and support day-to-day operations

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

● 3–5 years of financial/administrative experience (non-profit or school setting preferred)

● Proficiency with financial software, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office

● Excellent communication, organization, and confidentiality skills

● Commitment to the mission of Catholic education
